Precious Days to Remember

Image
And now, our grade 10 journey is going to end in a few days, which means, junior high school life comes to an end too. It's been a wonderful moment, our beloved junior high school life. Learning, discoveries, improvements, and maturity throughout this phase of life.  I was able to enjoy and appreciate the courage, strength and guidance of our teachers during this last quarter. The laughs, stories and short memories we made during this short time moment will truly and forever be with us. We were able to perform and make our own Frontpage during the 4th quarter in ICT with the guidance of our teacher, I was able to enjoy doing it, though we shared many laughs and smiles when we are creating our own front pages.  This is it, the last quarter in 10th grade, the last chapter in junior high school. A new chapter is coming to open, and new memories are about to come and be remembered. It has been a wonderful journey, a moment to remember. REFERENCE: CPET (2019) Core Principles: Criti...

10 years from now

Image
We all have dreams that ignite a fire within us, pushing us to reach for the stars and achieve something extraordinary. In the depths of my soul, there is a burning desire to taste the sweet fruit of success, to leave an indelible mark on the world. As I gaze into the future, I envision a path paved with determination, hard work, and unwavering dedication.  Ever since I was a child, I have been captivated by the noble profession of nursing. The idea of providing compassionate care, easing pain, and making a positive impact on people's lives has always resonated with me. In 10 years, I envision myself as a successful and accomplished nurse. From student to a successful and great nurse for our country. And achieving the dreams that I want to achive someday. Helping my parents as I payback their unconditional love and eternal support towards me and my siblings. Also supporting my younger siblings financially for their studies. And being a good example of a nurse to serve people in nee...

Change Starts with ME

Image
We all want to see change in the world. We want to see less poverty, less hunger, less war, and more peace. We want to see a world where everyone has access to education, healthcare, and opportunity. The truth is, change starts with us. It starts with each individual making a commitment to make a difference. It starts with each of us choosing to be the change we want to see in the world. There are many small things we can do to make a difference. We can volunteer our time to a local charity. We can donate to a cause we care about. We can recycle and conserve energy. We can be kind and compassionate to others. These small acts of kindness may seem insignificant, but they can have a big impact. They can inspire others to make a difference as well. And when enough people make a difference, it can create real change in the world. So don't wait for someone else to make the change you want to see. Start with yourself. Be the change you want to see in the world. REFERENCE: teepublic(202...

Mothers Day

Image
Mother's Day is a special day to celebrate the love and sacrifice of our mothers. It is a time to show our appreciation for everything they have done for us, from raising us to teaching us right from wrong.  Mothers are the most selfless people in the world. They put their children's needs before their own, and they would do anything to protect them.  They are always there for us, no matter what. Mothers make many sacrifices for their children. They give up their time, their money, and their energy to make sure their children have the best possible life. They work hard to provide for their children, and they never complain.  Mothers are our biggest supporters. They are always there to cheer us on, no matter what we do. They believe in us, even when we don't believe in ourselves. We are so lucky to have mothers in our lives. They are our best friends, our confidants, and our mentors. They teach us how to be kind, compassionate, and responsible adults. REFERENCE: Easy...

It is a day to honor the contributions of working people to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the country.  The holiday was first celebrated in 1882, and it was originally called "Labor Day Decoration Day." The name was changed to "Labor Day" in 1894.  Labor Day is a time to reflect on the history of the labor movement and the many gains that have been made for working people over the years. It is also a time to celebrate the hard work and dedication of working people today.  There are many ways to celebrate Labor Day. Some people choose to attend parades or festivals. Others choose to spend time with family and friends. Still others choose to volunteer their time to help others.  No matter how you choose to celebrate Labor Day, it is important to take some time to reflect on the importance of working people and the contributions they make to our societ...

Three Fourths

Image
The School year is soon coming to an end, this past eight weeks may have been stressful, frustrating and annoying, despite all the setbacks I still thoroughly enjoyed this year’s lessons. Although the lessons were fun, I wouldn’t say it’s easy, after all nothing in this life is easy, only hardships. For this quarter’s ICT lessons, it’s about research, and I am not happy about this, although it is far easier than our normal research subject as we are able to choose between categories. Despite this, I am so tried of research, and I don’t write want to write essays upon essays. Although I am quite glad it isn’t as complicated as our main research subject and we can use an easier method for conducting research. Moving on, I will carry all the learnings taught to me during this quarter of the School Year all throughout my journey as a student

Holy Week

Image
Holy Week is a significant religious observance for Christians around the world. It commemorates the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, which commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem, and ends with Easter Sunday, which celebrates Jesus' resurrection from the dead. During Holy Week, Christians participate in various religious traditions and practices, including attending church services, praying, fasting, and reflecting on the meaning of Jesus' sacrifice. It is a time of solemnity and contemplation, as well as a time of hope and renewal. Last Holy Week, I spent time with my family at our hometown. We went to church together. We also enjoyed bonding moments at home, preparing meals together. It was a simple yet meaningful time spent with my loved ones, reflecting on our faith and cherishing each other's company. NATIONAL WOMEN'S MONTH CELEBRATION

Image
National Women's Month is significant in promoting gender equality and challenging gender roles that limit the opportunities and capabilities of women. It is a time to recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of women in various fields and to raise awareness about the challenges that women face.      Gender roles are societal expectations and norms that dictate what is considered appropriate behavior for men and women. These roles can be limiting and restrictive, especially for women, who are often expected to prioritize their family responsibilities over their careers and personal goals.      National Women's Month provides an opportunity to challenge these gender roles and promote gender equality. By highlighting the achievements of women in various fields and encouraging women to pursue their passions and goals, we can break down the barriers that limit women's potential.      Additionally, Nati...

Valentines Day

Image
Valentine's Day, also called Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated annually on February 14. It originated as a Christian feast day honoring a martyr named Valentine.  Valentine's Day is typically associated with romantic love, but it can also be a great opportunity to celebrate love and affection with family. One year, my family and I decided to do something special for Valentine's Day. We started the day by making a big breakfast together. We all pitched in to cook eggs, bacon, pancakes, and fresh fruit. We sat down at the table and enjoyed a leisurely meal together, talking and laughing as we ate. After breakfast, we decided to do something fun as a family. We brainstormed a few ideas, but ultimately settled on going to a nearby park for a picnic. We packed a basket full of sandwiches, chips, and cookies, and brought along a frisbee and a football to play with. As the day went on, we decided to do a few other activities together. We went...

What I have Learned

Image
To be honest, 1st qt of ICT is harder than 2nd qt. I really enjoyed this quarter and at the same time I learned a lot from it. Especially in HTML coding, at first it was really hard and confusing for me. But when Ma'am thought us everything we need to make a simple HTML file with tags in it. I learned how to make a tag, the two types of tags, making an html. I also learned that once u put a different character, the tag's purpose that you want will not work. And when making an HTML file, we must be alert and it is important to know the different tags and its function.  REFERENCE: EDMENTUM(2017) 5 Classroom Activities to Help Students Reflect on Learning. https://blog.edmentum.com/5-classroom-activities-help-students-reflect-learning

Happy-happy New Year!!!

Image
The night of New Year's Eve, my family and I gathered at my grandparents' house. We spent the evening cooking a delicious feast together, playing games, and sharing stories. As midnight approached, we counted down the seconds and cheered as the clock struck twelve. The sound of fireworks filled the air, and we all hugged and wished each other a happy New Year. We continued to celebrate into the early hours of the morning, dancing to music and enjoying each other's company. The next day, we took a walk in the nearby park and had a picnic together. It was a wonderful way to start the new year, surrounded by the people I love most. Overall, my New Year celebration with my family was a time of joy, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. EstudyanTREPRENEUR 2022

Image
Since the EstudyanTREPRENEUR opened, a lot of students went to the bazaar. Me and my friends also visited the bazaar and I saw a lot of stalls which contains the different parts of the T.L.E. (Technology and Livelihood Education) I visited the Cookery booth, the Carpentry booth, the Massage Services booth, the ICT booth, and the Plants booth.     When I visited the Cookery I saw the Cookery students that are wearing complete cooking uniform. And doing proper hygiene for the consumer's safety.     When I participated this event, I learned few things. I learned how important the knowledge we get from the TLE subject which covers livelihood lessons and also in technology.     The bazaar is full of simple businesses and all has different things in it. And this bazaar gives the students an idea of running a business like.

Merriest Christmas!!!

Image
I woke up early on Christmas morning and rushed to the living room to see what Santa had brought me. The tree was beautifully decorated with twinkling lights, and presents were piled high under it. After opening our gifts, we all sat down to a delicious breakfast together. My mom made her famous eggnog pancakes, and the smell of bacon and freshly brewed coffee filled the air. Later that day, we went caroling in the neighborhood with friends and sang our favorite Christmas songs. The chill in the air made our cheeks rosy, and we felt the joy and warmth of the season. In the evening, we had a big family dinner, with all of our relatives gathered around the table. We shared stories, laughed, and reminisced about past Christmases. As the night came to a close, we sat by the fireplace, sipping hot cocoa and listening to Christmas music. I felt so grateful for my family and the memories we created together. This Christmas experience will always be special to me, and I will always treas...

National Children's Month

Image
National Children’s Month is celebrated in November in the Philippines every year. This month-long celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare. Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippines’ national hero, once said that the youth is the future of the nation, and investing in children is key for the betterment of the next generation. This holiday also comes from a place of empathy. As a third-world country, most families struggle financially, and it’s the children who suffer the most. This month highlights the ways we can help and support them.  National Children’s Month Act commemorates the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child on 20 November 1989. Under section 3 of the law, the CWC, National Youth Commission, and the Department of Social Welfare Development were designated as the lead agencies for the conduct of the celebration.  The focus of National Children’s Month is to offer help to those c...
